Practice Head - QE

Experience: 10 - 15 Years

Location: Hyderabad

Technovert is not your typical IT services firm. We have to credit our two successful products generating $2M+ in licensing/SaaS revenues which is rare in the industry.

Given the capabilities, we are looking for a passionate and tech savvy practice leader role that can generate 100% YOY growth rates in this division for us. 

As a practice Head, for the practice, closely working with testing, marketing & be a part of presales team you will deliver consulting and strategy services to clients that are looking to build flawless products, enterprise applications on Cloud and Mobile platforms. Additionally, you will be developing marketing collateral for the practice, participating in business development activities and leading people as part of your core responsibilities.


Core functions

Building the Practice: Drive overall growth of the practice right from market positioning, business development, talent development to delivering the solutions.

Talent Development: Hire passionate and right mix of talent. Coach, guide and mentor consultants and leaders and build a tech savvy, high performance team and awesome culture.

Build center of excellence: Build an innovation center, design test suites and develop new methodologies & intellectual property. Be a doer and drive change with excellence. Train people on latest technologies and platforms and have open source contributions

Sales Enablement: Identifying market needs, design campaigns, produce quality collateral and enable sales teams to drive new business opportunities. Your presentation and marketing skills are of utmost importance for the role.

Engagement Management: Manage engagement risk, project economics including planning and budgeting, defining deliverable frameworks


Thought Leadership: Research and identify latest and future trends in the industry and share thought provoking ideas and solution with internal teams and to the world at large. Active in the technology community through various channels including conferences, meetups, blogging, etc. 

Must have:

  • Prior testing and architecture experience
  • Deep technical understanding and ability to design and architect testing suites right from scratch independently (although you'll have plenty of support from the tech team)
  • Expert and persuasive communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Expert in presentation and skilled at managing multiple clients
  • Excellent leadership skills

Nice to Have:

  • Excellent mentoring / training skills to build competency of practice
  • Active on blogging, delivering webinars / tech talk, active participation in tech conference & meetups


  • 10+ years of all-round experience in a consulting environment. We are open for both young guns or seasoned leaders
  • Experience in all phases of a project / testing lifecycle
  • Agile mindset & act as integrator between Testing and Development Team
  • Expert in business development, pre-sales skills and experience working with executives and C-level clients
